Some amazing companies I've had the pleasure to work with.

    • There will be very few times during your career in which you have a co-worker of par excellence. I have that fortune working with Natalie Wilkins. Ms. Wilkins is the Marketing director for Greater Lynchburg transit for the past several years. Over the past five (5) years, I have seen her skills, imagination, and leadership morph our operation from a point of contention within the community into a viable partnership and extension of the community. Her marketing Ideas i.e. “ Go Green – Ride Blue”, “Summer Youth Program” and community advertising have lead the Way for Greater Lynchburg Transit to become a viable option to the community Lynchburg.

The way she facilitate ideas with leadership, all-embracing idea exchange and “out of the box” intuitive thinking has made her the person to know in Lynchburg Virginia. She has developed several community workshops that cover a range of services and needs throughout Lynchburg. And in doing this has lead Lynchburg community and some leaders to covet working with Natalie and GLTC.

On a personal note, her success has to be somewhat contributed to her great personality and drive to make thing better. To work with someone that believes in doing the right thing right and for the right reason is just a mirror to her personality and work ethics. It has been and continues to be a breath of fresh air, to have a co- worker that has such a great personality, leadership skills and all around professional can do attitude. Nothing but success is in the future of any program, workshop or operational issue she may be involved in. Great Job

    • I met Natalie when she was a sales representative for WSET. She entered a market that in some ways needed someone with her personality, but also one that has not always been receptive to outside help. We talked about the importance of “relationship” building to develop a market that would be loyal to her and it would have to be done with a commitment from her superiors, as well as a personal one for her. There would be many detours and roadblocks, but with perseverance and good customer relations she could succeed. And she did!!!! Like no other before her or since to my knowledge. Her professional demeanor, as well as her personal skills and more importantly her ability to develop and sustain relationships opened up a market here that had not been obtained. Natalie was a part of this market for over two years and it was my privilege to have worked with her to help build and sustain “relationships” and a “market” that I feel she helped her customers open up doors and venues that had not and again, have not since she left.Natalie’s’ work ethic, ideas and sense of seeing them accomplished puts her head and shoulders above her peers. Her presence has been missed in this market as well as what she brought to all of us that know her.

    • Six years ago, I was the Program Director of the Free Foundation, a new non-profit organization that was serving from its inception only about 25-50 consumers. Upon meeting Natalie who was in sales at the local TV station WSET suggested a meeting to educate me on the importance of how marketing was crucial to growing our business. As a result of that meeting, we established a plan to promote our services to the community. The meeting was instrumental in creating and producing not only our first local commercial, but allowed the Free Foundation to appear on several of the station’s popular community news shows. As a result of Natalie’s efforts and marketing expertise we were able to grow our services from 50 consumers to well over 275 within the first year of operation. Down through the years since our initial meeting and as President of the 100 member branch of the Campbell County of the NAACP, I have on numerous occasions sought Natalie's expertise on marketing issues as it relates to growing our branch. I have found Natalie's service and expertise an invaluable resource for me and my organizations.
